Janne K. Hansen
Beige-Face
I’m hiding under the thinnest layer.
Smooth, scratched.
New day tomorrow, dreaming.
New layer.
My jewellery often refers to the personal space between the remembered and the suppressed, depicting events that might have taken place or a kind of warning of things to come. My works are without solid facts, but point to the memories that shape us and to the complexity of the moment, captured in a physical form, full of the attached complexities and feelings, and with a clear aesthetic of their own.
